Henry Rylands grew up in Sheffield where he discovered his love of theatre at a very young age.  Throughout his school career, he was involved in many of the theatre productions and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, all of which helped to confirm that this was something he wanted to do professionally.  After leaving school, Henry attended the University of Manchester where he read English Literature and also continued to further his love of acting by being involved in various productions and short films. After graduating in 2013, Henry moved down to London to pursue a professional career in acting and has been involved in a number of short films and theatre productions, and has recently just finished filming BBC Films’ Testament of Youth.  Henry is also a keen pianist and enjoys writing.
