VIRGINS DIE HORNY is the first UK offering by Selectwork Productions, a newly resurrected production company founded by Sal Cesare, American ex-pat, playwright, director and producer.
Selectwork Productions presented a number of plays in the 1980s, all directed by Mr Cesare. These included productions of Mr Cesare’s work, seven plays in all, including KNOCK TWICE IF YOU’RE NOT REALLY THERE, QUARTER PAST ALIVE, and an early, one-act version of VIRGINS DIE HORNY. Selectwork also presented productions of Luigi Pirandello’s SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR, and a double bill of Eugene’s Inoesco’s shorter works, THE LESSON and THE CHAIR.
Selectwork Productions was disbanded in the early 1990s.
Resurrected and re-inspired, under the direction of Executive Producers Sal Cesare and Karen Shackleford-Cesare, Selectwork Productions, is launching the UK premiere of VIRGINS DIE HORNY at The Courtyard Theatre on October 28th for a three week run through to November 16th, 2014.
Beyond this production, Selectwork Productions aspires to create a body of theatrical and cinematic work that will challenge, entice, and entertain.
